I came to know Mitch back in 2012, when he was working on one of my company projects as a contract supervisor for a painting company. The project was a 118 unit, 12 floor high condo complex. Mitch and his crew of approximately eight men and women, started and finished on time. As Mitch’s contract came to an end on this project, I asked him if he would like to come work for our company as a contractor as well. Our company consists of myself and five other business partners, who take care of 1,200 condo and town house units. Mitch worked on our B-19 reports, which is sealing any and all penetration through concert, for the fire codes of Ontario.
Mitch also started, implemented, and completed year one and year two audit reports of over 3000 cosmetics, and structural issues. Over approximately a six year span, Mitch was a contractor for us and a good part of closing to completion of over 500 condo units. Mitch’s duties also included concert work, framing issues, tile work, floating flooring issues, plumbing repairs, electrical repairs, venting repairs, drywall repairs, taping, sanding and finish painting.
He looked after hundreds of in-house deficiencies, for our newly purchased units to the clients satisfaction. We were sorry to see Mitch go but understand his reasons for wanting to move to semi-retire and move to a smaller city where his talents can be utilized in many ways.
